We want to spend one or two nights in Milan in January. Cost is important - as well as clean, but frill aren't. Does anyone have a suggestion for something in the center of Milan? Maybe with a quad room. Preferably near the duomo?

We stayed at the Residence de la Gare. Near the train station, handy to the subways. Very spacious suites (living room, kitchenette, large bathroom and separate bedroom). I think it was about $150 USD

Thanks Dennis I will check this out - we still haven't gone. I wanted to see the Edward Hopper exhibit and take the kids... have until the end of the month.
