Inexpensive B&B in Milan within walking distance of Duomo

Is anyone aware of a nice place to stay in Milan not too far from the Duomo? The hotels I looked up online were about $200/night. We're looking for something a little less costly, maybe a B & B. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Milan isn't really a "B&B" kind of place, unless by that you simply mean a smaller family run urban hotel that serves breakfast.

Or, you can probably save time and get more hotel reviews at tripadvisor.com

Save yourself some euros and use the subway. Ck RS guidebk for hotel suggestions in your price range. In general Milan is somewhat pricey as it is a business destination.

Kathy:
Try Novotel hotels (part of accor hotel chain). We stayed at Novotel Milano Nord Ca Granada for three nights last year - 79 euros / night in a superior room including great breakfast buffett. This hotel was 5 - 10 minutes from Milan Railway station by bus. When on the website, choose the city break option and the special rate will not allow you to make any changes latter or get refund in case you can not make it. I think it was a three or four star hotel.

Thanks for the tips, it does not look like Novotel is in Milan, unfortunately. I think I will check out some places off the subway in RS's book.
