In Venice, transportation from Piazza San Marco to cruise terminal?

Been looking through my books/maps/travelsites and do not see if there is a vaporetto stop at the cruise terminal....or at least nearby. What am I missing?

I beleive you need to take the Alilaguna Rossa (red) to Statzione Marittima. It's not a vaporetto but it leaves from San Marco.

There are a few options, vaporetto to P. Roma and the walk, taxi shuttle to the port; alilaguna to the port; water taxi. If you are on one of the smaller ships that docks at San Basilio, vaporetto to there is also an easy option.

The shuttle is free from P.Roma to the port.

I think the shuttle from P. Roma to the cruise ship terminal is variable, depends on what ships are in port and all that good stuff. For a while anyway, if a Princess ship was in port it wasn't available or only at a cost, at least for the Princess passengers. Some people have also been using the people mover. You may want to check the cruisecritic.com forums to see what the latest is on that info. When we did a cruise out of Venice, we were lucky enough to be on one of the smaller ships out at San Basillio, so much easier.

The people mover from Piazzale Roma was running when we were there last week. I'm not sure if it goes all the way to the cruise dock yet but I know last year it was very close. It costs 1 euro.

I've never taken a cruise so I am guessing. Maybe your cruise operator would have this info.
