In search of romantic proposal spot in Rome

Hi All!
My mom has told me how much this community has helped her in planning several trips over the years to Europe. I'm hoping there are some people out there who can help me.

The ask: I'm looking for a Romantic, Rooftop, Reasonable restaurant in Rome where I can purpose to my girlfriend. There are so many to choose from and having never been to Rome, I'm not sure where to start.

Backstory: My girlfriend and I have been together almost 4 years and I'll finish my internship (the end of my 9 years of school) in May to receive my doctorate in psychology. We planned a trip to Italy in August (I know, it's hot then, but the timing couldn't be helped) where I'm going to ask her to marry me. I've arranged for her folks and mine to meet us in Rome where I'll propose. Our parents being there is a surprise, as she pretty much knows I'm going to pop the question sometime on our trip.

The actual proposal will be just the two of us and we'll meet our folks for dinner afterward. I'm in search of a place to purpose that will be beautiful and memorable. I've never been to Rome and after doing some research on possible spots, I was hoping to get some input/guidance on what locals or 'Rome experts' think.

Final Thoughts: After much soul searching and reading, I feel that doing it at a rooftop restaurant during sunset would be my best option, since we are meeting our parents afterward for dinner. It will take the anxiety out of worrying about getting to a place (in the heat), purposing and then getting to the restaurant - all while dressed for dinner. I think my girlfriend will appreciate this decision. I'd like to work with the restaurant on table setting/placement, as I don't want to bring her to a table set for 6 before I purpose.

I'm looking for any input you can give and appreciate your time lending me your expertise.

With Much Gratitude,
Josh

Salita delle pendici dell'Aventino is a romantic setting. It’s by Basilica di Santa Sabina all'Aventino. Unfortunately there is no restaurant nearby. It overlooks the Tiber, Trastavere, and St. Peter’s Basilica can be seen in the background.

Thank you both for taking the time to respond.

Yes, the 2 sets of parents are fine with having a European-timed dinner.

I appreciate the restaurant article and will take a closer look.
