I'm having a hard time figuring out whether I'd be better off staying at a hotel near Roma Termini station the night before my flight back to the US (which is 11am) and taking an early train out, or taking a late train out to the airport area that evening and getting a hotel by the airport. It seems like the hotels are still pricey by the airport, and then it would involve extra trips to and from a hotel but I'm just not sure. We'll be traveling from Florence to Rome late afternoon or evening so I am trying to plan that whole day around where we'll be staying. Anyone think one of these options is better? Or have any suggestions on reasonable places to stay? I think I hit my limit on hotel research after finally picking hotel # 4 for this trip :)
