Imperiial and royal apartments at the Pitti Palace closed

The imperial and royal apartments in the Pitti Palace in Florence are closed indefinently. Is it still worthwhile to tour the palace or should I wait for these apartments to be opened to the public again.

The royal apartments have astounding pieces of furniture, but the pictures, including large numbers of Raffaellos and Tizianos are at the Galleria Palatina. A museum with seven Raffaellos in a single room would be top class anywhere in the world, but in Florence is just second best to the Uffizi. The Galleria Palatina has not the modern museum display style, pictures are hung as room ornaments, old style, and each room has an huge number of them.

The Galleria d'arte moderna has 19th century Italian painters, not very known out of Italy, but the Hayez and the Fattori are very beautiful.
