Image of EU Digital Passenger Locator Form

Help! Tomorrow is flight to Italy. I received a QR code. And I did see the dPLF which has My PLFs on upper left. ID # . One row of info for date of arrival & time; transportation mode; destination; and Status states SUBMITTED.
WHAT IS WRONG? United won’t accept either. That is all the info I can retrieve. I am trying to fill out a new form but I keep getting responses that my password is not accepted.

I leave on Wednesday for Italy, so after reading your post I went in and looked at my dPLF and it also states “submitted” status. That worried me until I went and looked at my dPLF from July 3rd and that one also states “submitted”. We didn’t have any problems with Alaska or American when we flew with it to Rome.

QR code is all you need. What do you mean, United won’t accept?

The QR code was all we needed to get into Malta...it was the same EU Digital passenger locator form as you need. However, we DID print out several copies rather than only have it on our phone, as they wanted a hard copy.

I am not aware of anyone who has something other than "submitted", since that is basically all you are doing, submitting additional information for contact tracing if needed. It is not as if they are approving or disapproving, or even looking at these forms unless needed.

Talk to United, the problem seems to be with them, I believe they require you to upload the form, as opposed to showing it at check-in. To be clear though, do not confuse the dPLF with anything to do with testing or vaccination records, it is totally separate.

When we flew Delta a month ago, they did not require anything be submitted, we just had to show our test results and they mentioned the dPLF, I held them up, but they did not review them. Upon arrival in Italy, other than passports, no one will review the documents, it is the airlines responsibility (though they can review if they want)
