Il Pirata Rooms Vernazza

Has anyone stayed here? I'm specifically curious about the studio. The pictures look super nice but it's also quite a bit more expensive than many other place in Vernazza. I can't find many reviews. Thanks for any help!

Never stayed there but go to the owners cafe for the best dessert you will ever have in your life.

Yea, I've heard about the pastries for sure! Good thing we'll be walking alot. :) BTW- one of the big pluses with staying in their rooms is that breakfast from Il Pirata is included in the price.

Have you checked Trip Advisor for reviews?

Yes, I checked TA and they only have one review. I don't think they have either owned or managed these rooms very long.

Go for it and leave a review on tripadvisor. If he runs his rooms anything like his shop you will be more than ok.

I agree with Scott. We had a great lunch at this cafe and the owner and his brother were very friendly.

Thanks to everyone for the info. We booked it. I asked if we could get a discount by staying 3 nights (which we were planning to do) and they gave me 10E off. It's still a bit of a splurge compared with most places in Vernazza but I'm super excited. They were incredibly nice and responsive via email btw.

As an aside - My husband would probably sleep in a cardboard box if there was pastry and drinking chocolate involved. haha. :)
