If you are still wondering if you should go....(article)

I made the very difficult decision to cancel my non refundable trip to Croatia and Northern Italy starting May 4, 9 days ago. Since then, I have been second guessing my decision. I just read this article and am not second guessing anymore. Just wanted to share it with all of you.....

I'm glad you are feeling good about your decision.

I still plan to wait until closer to the date to decide.

BB, I understand and wish you and all travelers the very best. Please be safe, and quarantine for two weeks after you get home to protect your family and community.
I do hope you are not going in the next 30 days, or your decision was made by President Trump. Have a great trip!!!

Thanks.

President Trump has nothing to do with my decision, because I am Canadian. :)

My trip is supposed to start May 3. If circumstances are such that self-quarantining would still be necessary, I probably wouldn't go. I wouldn't mind self-quarantining, since I'm retired, but it would be a problem for my husband.

Right now, my airlines is only offering change fee/rules waivers for flights booked until March 31. So, regardless, I would wait until that offer is extended (if that becomes necessary) before I would cancel, anyhow.

I hope you are able to reschedule for a less challenging time. :)

Well, we still worry about him, but we aren't as directly affected as Americans. However, we have a saying here: America sneezes, and Canada gets a cold.

BB, Oh My Gosh! I know I am off topic, but I laughed out loud at your Canadian quote. Although, in all fairness, it is not funny....
I wish you, your family, and friends no coronavirus and good health! If you go on your trip, I hope it is wonderful. Let us know what you decide to do....

Blessings....
