ideas for getting from Sorrento to Rome Termini

Train schedule showed something like 3 1/2 hours, with a transfer in Naples, 60E for 2nd class. Just wondering if there was a quicker, or more fun, way to get to Rome... like, ferry from Sorrento to Naples, then the train?
