ideas for a nice beach town between Manarola and Pisa?

Hi,
I am looking for suggestions for beach town between Manarola in Cinque Terre, and Pisa where I fly out. I am thinking of Lerici. Is it complicated to get to Lerici from Manarola or to leave Lerici to get back on a train to Pisa?

If you have other suggestions, I would appreciate hearing those too. I can't afford Portofino.
Thanks,
G

Well, Portofino is not between Manarola and Pisa, so that will take care of that.
There is no train in Lerici, only a bus from La Spezia. Besides, it's in the same general area as the Cinque Terre, so you might as well stay in Manarola.
Frankly I would consider Viareggio. Full of beach night life (many Tuscans and others go there in summer), decent sand beaches, one of the largest pine tree forest anywhere (between Viareggio and Torre Del Lago) and a quick train ride to Pisa.

I recommend Levanto - great beaches, lovely town to walk around in, lots of good restaurants.

Within the Cinque Terre, of course, Monterosso is the most beachy of the five towns, easily accessible by train or tourist boat from Manarola.
