I’ve gotten a signed letter with prescriptions listed from physician and I will leave the meds in their bottles even my blood pressure meds. Is there anything else I should do?

That should be sufficient
Chances of anyone checking your meds is pretty slim
I travel with meds and have never been asked over many many trips

Would you feel safe leaving them in hotel room/safe or should I carry them with me?

I carry only what I need for the day
The rest stays in hotel
