I Am Now Officially Freaked Out About My Itin.

Background:6/16-7/9. Ive been reading this and other chat rms for a few months but recent posts have me worried now. Im mainly using the RS and Pauline Frommers books. I have studied the travel times between locations. Travel by train unless otherwise noted. Will park outside of town to avoid tix. Ive been to Italy 2ce although my last trip was 13 years ago. This will be my nieces 1st trip. We dont need to see everything, as Ive been to some of these places, and we will both be back. We agree that we can skip sights so we can stop and enjoy just being in Italy. This is not the slow trip I would have planned with friends but an overview for my niece. I hope I havent crossed into the "Are you nuts?!" pace. Please let me know if I am in fact, CRAZY. :o) Do you see any big issues?
Ive only listed the hilites and reserved tours. THANK YOU!!!

How old are your nieces? Sounds like a lot of fun to introduce them to Italy! On the surface I think you need to eliminate maybe 2 stops and add a few 'relax' days...open time to sleep in a bit, or shop, or just wander. Sorrento may be worth one of those days, Rome could probably use one more day, too. Perhaps a few less tours, too? The thing is, they'll need to slow down just a bit to be able to take it all in and experience Italy, won't they? Much of this depends on their age. Good luck!

I don't see a problem. You've planned in a couple of "relax' days....you don't seem to be overcrowding your daily activities. And there are enough things you could drop if you felt like taking extra time to yourself.

As you stated..this is an overview trip and you will return.

Have a great time!!!!
