Can I bring a hydration back pack and some snacks to the Colosseum? My husband is a 75 year old diabetic, so I want to bring water and food.

I'm not sure whether the Hydration pack will be allowed as security staff may view that as a "backpack". I'd suggest carrying bottled water instead as that should be allowed. I doubt there will be a problem with snacks, as long as they're carried on your person and not in a backpack.
