I've received conflicting instructions regarding where to validate my ferry ticket to board the ferry from Bari to Patras. The ferry is Superfast nd their website says to go to Stazione Marittima to validate and then board the ferry. Another traveller on Tripadvisor said I needed to go to Stazione Marittima where I would then take a shuttle bus to Ansa di Mariabella to validate my ticket & then reboard the shuttle bus which would take me back to Stazione Marittima where we board the ferrry. Can anyone confirm the correct procedure as my connection time between the train station in Bari and the Port is limited .

I would trust the ferry company, more than a tripadvisor posting
In any event it looks like its not that far. How close are you cutting the connection?

Thank you for the reply. I have 1.5hrs to go from the train station (Bus 20/ from Bari Centrale to Stazione Marittima which leaves every 40 mins & the ride is about 20 mins) then the shuttle to Ansi di Marisabella is about every 5 mins or so. If I knew that I did not need to go to Ansi di Marisabella I could save the 10mins or so roundtrip and the wait time in line. I did check with the ferry line and they said go to Stazione Marittima to validate but several people said that their experience was they needed to take the shuttle to Ansi di Marisabella. Wish I could just get a straight answer. No one at the ferry company will answer my question directly....they only refer me to the instructions for Porto Bari on their website.
