I visited the Correr Museum two days ago but never found an entrance to the Marciana Library. I had a museum pass. Does this mean that I can’t go back and see it? I understand that the library uses the same entrance as the museum. I have googled extensively but can’t find a clear answer. I’d really like to see the library.
I have no direct experience but have a look at this page. It's in Italian but you can translate it
https://bibliotecanazionalemarciana.cultura.gov.it/la-biblioteca/accesso-alla-biblioteca
There is all the information about how to visit the library as a user.
However, on this page: https://bibliotecanazionalemarciana.cultura.gov.it/la-biblioteca/accesso-alla-biblioteca/piantina-piano-terra
it says that access is from n. 7 , Piazzetta S. Marco
Once you have gone in, look for the Ufficio Orientamento I think they should be able to help you without you having to register as a user. In the past visiting similar places, people have been very helpful. Say per favore a lot and smile and look hopeful, I'm sure you'll be fine.
Thanks Tinac. What I’ve been reading makes it really sound worthwhile visiting. Even if I have to pay a single admission to get in, despite my having already purchased the museum pass.
It’s pouring outside (severe rain alert). Maybe on my next visit (?).
A pity you've got bad weather!
