We will be in Rome on 9/4 - 9/7 we will arrive on the 4th from Tuscany but will have all day on the 5th & 6th. However the 6th is Labor Day, any suggestions on an itinerary? This is our 1st time to Italy we would like to take in as much as possible.

We are there the same length of time, we are doing the Vatican experience one day with a walk down Via Veneto that night then on Day 2 we are taking a guided tour of the forum and coliseum with a late afternoon walk including the pantheon, trevi fountain and spanish steps.
