We're staying in Venice for 3 nights prior to boarding our cruise in Chioggia. We are not crazy about taking the bus as I've heard it's long and doesn't take you right to the port. We are 4 adults. Any help is appreciated.

Be aware if you take the scenic vaporetto route, the vaporetto dock in Chioggia is across a canal from the cruise dock and it is a long walk to the nearest bridge.
