We'd like to watch a soccer game while in italy this July. We'll be in Milan, Florence and Rome. Any pointers on where to find game schedules, tickets? Thanks!!!

July is sort of an off month for European football. When my daughter, a English Premier League fan (Liverpool), honeymooned in Italy three years ago in July, she was chagrined to find there would be no games, even in Milan. There might be some international matches in preparation for Euro 2012. You could check www.uefa.com. Milan's big teams are Internazionale and AC Milan and I know their sites have English translations. Good Luck!

July is off-season...no club matches:( There are also no Euro 2012 qualifiers during July as well.

The exact schedules haven't been posted yet but the season should start again at the end of August. Because of the 2012 Euro championships, the club season will begin a week or two earlier than usual.

We feel your pain! We would love to see any men's semi-pro or pro matches in Italy in July. I did some research to see if we could take a tour of the AS Roma/Lazio stadium and found out that they don't even offer stadium tours. However, we are lucky enough to have tickets to the FINAL of the 2011 Women's World Cup in Frankfurt. Woohoo! Saw the US Women play at the Rose Bowl in '99. I hope they can make the finals and get another championship this time! :)
