Without renting a car, how are my wife and I going to get from Rome to Montepulciano (and then back again to Rome)?
Looking for all recommendations...trains, private car, buses????

Train to Chiusi then either train or bus to Montepulciano
Taxi from station to center
Or consider a driver from Chiusi
