The guidebooks say that I can use "Airport Shuttle", but they have no current listings for this route, and the Schiaffini bus is not running now. I found a listing @ Rome-Shuttle but it was $48 eu. Has anyone used the "in italy" shuttle for only $29 eu (for two)? They look like the best option, that I can find.

The method I'd probably use would be to take the COTRAL Bus from Ciampino to the Anagnina Metro Station, and then Metro to Roma Termini. From Termini, take the Leonardo Express to Roma / FCO (about 35 min. and €11).

Thanks Ken, I'll use this as plan "b", but I'm fighting the clock. Our Ryan Air flight gets in at 7;40 am, and our flight home leaves Fiumicino @ 11:50.
I have had bad experiences with Fiumicino,and want to alot at least three hours for check in, so I am looking at getting there as fast as possible for the least amount of scheckles.
Looks like my cheap flight on Ryan Air is costing more than I had planned!
