I'm investigating if its easishy to to Vieste, I read a 12 year old posting from Tripadvisor and somebody said they got the train from Bari to Foggia and then there was a direct bus to Vieste outside the station.
However when searching for a bus from Foggia to Vieste I'm not seeing any direct bus.
Is there one? Or other options/routes to get to Vieste (where the frequency of train/bus is not tumbleweed infrequent).

I see a bus that goes from Foggia to Vieste, but the bad new is that it takes 2 hours and 45 minutes. It’s the SITA bus #744.
If you have lodging booked at those places perhaps ask them how to get between the cities?
Here's how we did it in 2009: Trenitalia from Foggia to San Severo, then Ferrovie del Gargano from San Severo to Peschici, then Cotrap bus from Peschici to Vieste. Now that I'm older and have slightly more disposable income, I would take a taxi from Peschici to Vieste!
