How to get cheap soccer tickets??

We would love to go to an actual soccer game when we're in Italy. Not picky at the least..it could be serie B, C, D- whatever-as long as the tix are cheap. The places we're going that I think will have soccer games is Rome, Florence, and maybe the Venice area. Let me know where we would go to get info and tix. Thanks!

I would splurge for Serie A in Rome if I were you. A Roma or Lazio game is an unforgettable experience. The tickets are not that expensive, call your hotel for details.

Ryan - I can speak for the Rome area. We have two teams here (Roma and Lazio) and both play at the Olimpico Stadio, alternating every other week on Sundays. I do believe the last game is on May 18th here in Rome.

You can buy the tickets on line but usually in Rome they are not cheap. The Lazio team has struggeled this year so their tickets might be more reasonably priced. Search on line, ask your hotel about ticket outlets, but avoid the scalpers!

The stadium is very historic, site of the 1960 Olympics. It's been "restored" but still a little worn.

Except for the really big matches, you'll should be able to buy tickets when you get to Rome. You can purchase them at the stadium box office, the Lazio shop in Via Farini and bars displaying the Lottomatica logo. Be sure you take your credit card and passport with you though if you do "will call".

If you want to go to a Roma game you can also buy tickets at the Roma Store, which is in Piazza della Colonna, right off of Via Del Corso, with the parliament buildings right in front. Go up the stairs and there they sell tickets. If you want cheap ones, ask for seats in Curva Nord, just remember that they only play on Sundays, usually the game starts at 3, but there is a chance that they play on Saturday or Sunday night. Find out when you go, but go the day before if you can. It is definately worth it, there is nothing like it in the US, the fans, the singing, the passion. Forza Roma!
