How to buy advance soccer tickets for game in Milan

We're heading to Italy in a couple weeks and wanting to purchase tickets for the game on January 26th in Milan. I've been looking at the AC Milan ticket site and I can't buy them online unless I have a Cuore Rossonero card. Is there no other way? Do we really have to wait until we get there?

If I go here https://www.acmilan.com/en/landing-tickets and click on the Milan vs Napoli game for January 26, I'm redirected to a page where I have to insert my Cuore Rossonero card number.

Ideas?

I just checked the website.
Until January 8 the sale is reserved to Cuore Rossonero cardholders.
After January 9 the sale is open to all.
As a foreigner you could get the Cuore Rossonero card, but it’s kind of too close to the event now, and it would cost 15€ to get a card. Just wait for the open sale period after Jan 9. I don’t think the match will sell out even though two top teams are playing (Naples in no. 2 in the standings and Milan no. 5).
Almost none of them sell out nowadays. People prefer watching soccer on TV in the warm comfort of their homes nowadays, without having to face the freezing temperatures of Milan in January.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply. Now, the question is, where should we sit? Looking at the seat map and locations, what are TRIBUNA D'ONORE ARANCIO and TRIBUNA ONORE ARANCIO + HOSPITALITY?

The map is below. The tribuna d’onore arancio is orange sectors 158, 160, 162, 164.
Not sure about what hospitality means.
If you click on the white circles near the sector of choice you can see the actual field view from the seats in that sector.

The AC Milan hooligans are assigned the blue curve, the guests hooligans the opposite curve.
Violence is rare inside the stadium nowadays with all the airport style controls, but it is still an issue outside the stadium, especially after the match. Don’t wear anything resembling the clubs’ colors and stay away from brawls. The Naples hooligans are famous for their violent ways.

Oh yeah. We're aiming for the P or R section. Kind of worried about how cold it will be since it is at night, but we'll worry about that when we get there. :)

Thanks for the help!

I attended a Sunday night game game in December a few years ago. Same teams, AC and Napoli. We bought tickets just before the game at the stadium. As reported by Roberto, unlikely to sell out and tickets were in the 50 to 60 EUR range if I recall, upper tiers mid field. The Milan Metro now goes all the way to San Siro stadium. That line had not been completed yet when we were there, so we had to take the Metro part way then transfer to a bus.

Be sure to have a Salumi sandwich before or after the match. Its a tradition, like having a bratwurst at Lambeau field. It is a local sausage with grilled peppers.

And also be sure to bring your passport, as it is required to have official ID to purchase tickets and enter the stadium.
