I am wondering if anyone can tell me how strenuous the Rick Steves Best of Sicily tour is. We have done 5 previous tours and are getting older. This tour is rated as one of the most strenuo We have been on the Greece tour and was wondering how Sicily would compare with that.

Having been on both, in my opinion Greece is slightly more strenuous although they are nearly equal and both similar to the Villages Italy tour. For me It's the hilly and standing around parts of the walking tours. I am um.....an "older" tour participant and didn't find any of them particularly overwhelming. And do remember, you are always able to opt out of any activity that doesn't suit your fancy. Just let your buddy and/or the guide know.
