How long to get through Naples airport?

If all goes according to plan, I will be going on my first trip since 2019 next month. I have an international flight from the USA to Naples airport and will be spending 10 days in Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast and Capri.

I have been exploring different options to get from the Naples airport to Amalfi. If my flight arrives on time at 7:55, do I have a decent chance of getting onto a bus that leaves the airport at 9:15am? I have read it's a relatively small airport but have no idea how long it usually takes to get through immigrations.

Thank you so much for any help! I am excited about traveling again but a bit anxious.

First, are you flying directly to Naples from the US? We are going in August but connect through Paris. If you are connecting somewhere else in the Schengen zone, you will just get off the plane and walk through the green door at customs.

My flight is directly from the USA to Naples so I'll have to go through immigrations and customs there.
