How long to drive from Lucca to Firenze Airport?

It's most likely a 90-100 minute drive. If you have a rental car, be advised that the rental car agency may not open until 08:00. At least Europcar doesn't. They will take your car at 07:00 for extra money. Or perhaps, you have a person that will drive you there. If you were to take the train, the first train out from Lucca departs at 5:35 getting into the main Florence train station at 06:37. You then have two choices. 1) a taxi for about 25Euros, 2) the Volainbus (airporter) that stops on the east side of the train station. The first bus you could catch would be the 07:00. You would be at the airport at about 07:30. However, I do see the first flight out to Frankfurt at 09:45 and the second flight to Zurich out at 09:55. If you are on one of those two flights, you should be OK. Or, the flight schedules could be different on the day you fly.

I would say it's about an hour. I drove from Lucca to Sienna in 1.5 hours.
