Is it reasonable to expect to get to Florence by 10:30 am if we leave Monterosso that morning? Does anyone know what time the train starts in the morning from Monterosso?

It's a 3 hour trip with a change in Pisa or La Spezia, trains start around 6:30 am or so. Check trenitalia.com - we found the schedules to be pretty reliable.

If you want to be a super early bird, you can leave Monterosso at 04:56 and arrive in Florence at 08:23.
