Hello. I'm headed to Rome on Friday, and I'd like to know how long I should budget for the Caesar Shuffle. No tours, just us two gals.

Nancy, I think that's what Rick calls his walking tour through Rome. I may be wrong but it sounds familiar.

I'd allow about 3 hours depending on what your including in your version of "the shuffle"
The rick steve's audio Europe app has a 37-minute tour of the colosseum and a 36-minute tour of the roman forum.
Add time for exploring, taking photos etc and these two locations are easily an hour each.
If you choose to explore the Palatine hill nearby then add the additional 3rd hour.

Thanks! We're planning on the Colosseum, Forum, Capitoline Hill, and the Pantheon. I guessed that it would take most of the morning, if not some of the afternoon too.
