Hi Debbie. You will have to do your own research to find answers to your questions. (Please use proper English - your post is a bit difficult to decipher). Use Kayak.com to find out about flights, such as how long they are and if there are any layovers (these increase the total travel time). You can put in several different U.S. airports to see if the price changes, but then you need to travel to that airport which will be an additional expense. As far as the "best" price goes, that really means what you consider a deal and how much you're willing to pay. The time of year that you go will have an effect on ticket prices. If you're that sick, should you even be traveling?

The probability of a direct flight from anywhere in the US to Verona is zero. Just not big enough. You might find a one stop flight but most likely a two stop flight - one US and one Europe. Total time including layovers 15 to 20 hours. You best price will be determined by time of year.

Debbie, I'm truly sorry to hear about your health problems, and I hope you'll be able to get to Verona. None of us on the HelpLine have any idea on the specifics of your situation nor can we provide medical advice, so I'd suggest speaking with your Physician first. He / She will have an idea how well you'll tolerate a long international flight and especially dealing with jet lag. I'm not too familiar with the flight options in your area, but I did a brief search. The easiest and quickest option would probably be a flight from Charleston / CRW (Yeager Airport) to Atlanta / ATL (1H:35M) and then direct to Milan / MXP via Delta Airlines (9H:30M). Total flight time on that option is 12H:10M, which is reasonably short. You may wish to speak with a Travel Agent in your area. There's a rail station at MXP, so you can travel from there to Verona. The majority of the trips on that route involve one change at Milano Centrale, which is not always a "preferred activity" after a long flight! It's a very busy station! Total rail travel time from MXP to Verona is ~2H:40M. The trip from Milano Centrale to Verona is a fairly short 1H:22M. When you arrive in Verona, I'd suggest taking a Taxi from the station to your Hotel. If you choose a Hotel close to Piazza Bra, you should be able to walk to the main sights. Do you have access to a copy of the RS Italy Guidebook? There are good Hotel listings there. If you need suggestions on lodgings, sightseeing, etc. in Verona, post another note, and I'm sure the group here will have some good tips for you. Good luck and hopefully happy travels! *NOTE: Thanks for the correction. I selected the "wrong" Charleston. I've amended my reply *

From WV I'd say Washington Dulles International would be the closest. Then a non stop flight from there to Rome. Once in Rome take a train to Verona. Use the Kayak website to review airfares for the travel dates you want.

Ken's suggestions are good, but I'd make a small correction that CHS is the Charleston, South Carolina, airport. Charleston, West Va, is CRW. Another option would be to fly out of Pittsburgh. I believe Pittsburgh is the closest international airport to your location in West Virginia. From Pittsburgh, you could fly US Air to Venice, Italy, with only a single stop in Philadelphia. Flight time would be 12-13 hours. From Venice, it's only an hour's train ride to Verona. There is a shuttle bus from the airport to the train station in Venice. Hope you can make it and hope you have a wonderful trip.

Verona is lovely as is Venice, Florence, Rome and so many places in Italy, the choices are endless. Your best flight option would probably be flying into Milan and taking train to Verona.
I hope you can make it to Italy, it's wonderful.
