Hi I will be on the Amalfi coast in April/May of next year. I wanted to know how far Amalfi is from Positano and how long does it take to get to Positano from there? What is the best way to get to Positano and how expensive is the travel? How much time does it take? Thanks!

The SITA bus is cheap, just a handful of euros. There are several going back and forth.
By car it takes less than 30 min. The bus might take 40-45 min with the stops.

Amalfi is 20 Km (12 miles) from Positano.

You could also take a ferry and get a wonderful view of the shore from the water..... The slow ferry should stop on it's way from Sorrento to Amalfi.

This past July we took a boat from Sorrento to Amalfi town and back again. You can also get off in Positano if you wish. It is fun to see the towns from the boat and I got some beautiful photos. On a previous trip we took the bus there and boat back. The boat to Amalfi was 33.60 Euros round trip so would be less to Positano.
