Our time in Rome in mid-June is limited and we are thinking we might want to attend a performance of La Grande Opera Italiana. It is held at St. Paul's Within the Walls, but since we are not sure of our time, would only get the tickets on the day of performance. Any idea how difficult it might be to get tickets? Is there a place that sells these tickets or must they be bought on line?

There is a ticket booth just outside the church, and they do usually seem to have same-day tickets available. It's open seating, so get there 30-45 minutes early to get a good seat. The operatic performances are usually on Saturdays.
