Hi, seeking views on how Sestri Levante compares, from people who've visited both or all three. Coming by train from London in June and like the look of the colour, the sandy beaches and charm and proximity to cinque terrestrial.
But might it feel too large and less quaint after those Maggiore towns? Also loved Cannobio snd also Menaggio on Como.
Detailed thoughts welcome. 50s couple seeking romantic setting, sandy beaches and smaller coves, plenty of historic charm, dramatic scenery and places to eat and take boat trips! No car, all by train.
