How do I get to Ostiense Station at 5am?

Hello :-) Can anyone please help me? I need to get to the Ostiense Station in Rome for a 6:10am train. I will be staying on Via Margutta. How do I get there at that time? Is it possible w/o a Taxi (afraid of getting ripped off)? Thanks to anyone who can help with this!!

Why ripped off? They go by the meter. Plus a night surcharge at that time of the morning.
Walking is not feasible. You are near Piazza di Spagna (Spanish steps) and you could take the Metro from there (A line - Direction Anagnina). Then at Termini you would change to line B (Direction Laurentina). Get off at "Piramide" station, which is next to the Ostiense station. The problem is that service starts at 5:30am, if trains at termini don't connect and you have to wait a while for the line B you are cutting it close.

Only afraid of getting "ripped off" by taxis, because I have read numerous articles and blogs that state that most taxis in Rome will try to rip tourists off, actually, even natinals, and that you really have to know the difference betweeen Zone A or B because they will try to charge you incorrectly (the higher amount) and they'll scream and yell at you to intimidate you into paying. Some will even claim you gave them different (lower) bills than what you gave them, etc. I'm traveling alone, so kinda nervous about the taxis....

Just tell the front desk receptionist that you need a taxi to catch the train. They will call for you. We've done this a few times to get to the airport, or train station, and it's always been perfect. The hotel will only call a certified taxi, so no worries about getting ripped off. You will be fine. Last fall we had to catch a 5 am taxi to get to the Florence airport...the taxi was waiting for us when we got to the lobby.
