How do I download Rick's Audio tours on my phone/the app to listen to offline?

Could someone please explain to me how to download and save the audio tours so I will not need wifi to listen to them. I can find them, I just can't figure out how to save them (in the app)

I have downloaded the app - Rick Steve's Audio Europe.

  • On the homepage there is a "my playlist". when I click on this, it says "tap on the 'add tours & interviews' button below to browse our audio Europe tracks. "
  • I click on the "I" icon and this takes me to travel info
  • I navigate to Explore Europe - this is now taking me to a website. I select Italy from "browse countries" and then select Listen and scroll down to a list of all the audio tours
  • I select a tour and click "listen or download". It starts to play the tour, but it is doing so via internet /WiFi? I don't see an option to save/download it nor to add it to "My playlist" on the app?

What am I doing wrong? How do I download the content and save it to listen to off line.
I appreciate any help you could provide.

Above “My Playlist”.you will see “Find Tours and Interviews”. Click on that. You will see a list by country. Click on the country you want. A list of walks and talks will open up. Tap the one you want to open the description, then “Download”. It will be added to your play list. Repeat until you get all the walks and talks you want for your trip. They will be available offline. You can load them using data or wifi.

THANK YOU! I had explored this earlier but didn't get to the point of opening a topic and seeing the download because..

Next question...I am not seeing any of the tours I want that are on his website list and in the book. For example, Roman Form and Roman Pantheon, Heart of Rome walk, etc.

I just looked at the app and see the Rome ones you mention. The dates are all March of 2023.

Try this:
1. Select "Find Tours & Interviews"
2. Select "Italy (Venice, Florence, Rome)"
3. Scroll down to the Rome section, there are 10 different walks including the ones you mention.

Lloyd, if you added the app prior to this spring, you may need to update it. New walks and talks plus updates to existing one were added in March and April.
