How difficult is it to get from Treviso Airport (TSF) to Venice proper?

We will be flying from Prague to Venice (to lodge & visit) on 05/05/14. Using Sky Scanner, we found a find a direct flight (1hr & 20min flight time) on Wizz Air into Treviso Airport for $200.88 with checked bags included for both of us. This was the only direct flight to Venice that we found. The price sounds awesome but we don't want to book it if getting from Treviso to Venice will be difficult. We will be relying on public transport or Taxi to Venice. Also, we have no knowledge or experience with Wizz Air. Do you?

An alternative would be to fly into another Italian city & immediately take the train to Venice, but it seems like that would just gobble up time we could be spending exploring more of Prague or Venice.

As always your advice and feedback is very much appreciated!

Actually, check the Treviso Airport website and they will have information on ground transportation to Venice. I'm pretty sure there is bus service to Piazzale Roma in Venice. You can also get a bus to Treviso train station and there are frequent regional trains to Venice.

I flew Wizz Air on that exact same route: Prague to Venice. A bus is scheduled for this flight's arrival, which goes directly from Treviso airport to Mestre - it was quick, cheap, and easy as pie! If you dig further on the Wizz Air website, this bus service should be mentioned. I do remember that their was a restrictive set of restrictions on the carry-on baggage allowed - so double-check this as well while you're on their website.

I can't thank you enough for the feedback!

We've never taken a trip like this before so we are trying to think through all of the logistics to avoid, to the degree possible, stressful hiccups in that area :)

We are packing light (1 RS Back Pack Bag each & 1 day-trip bag each) so I hope we'll be fine with any travel carry-on concerns. I have saved the web links & made myself a note to re-check in Apr before we depart

For the Wizz Air Flight, since there is only one, am I correct in thinking I should go ahead & get that flight booked now?
