The Uffizi closes at 6:30 p.m. the day we plan on visiting it. Due to other things on our itinerary, our only option is an afternoon visit. Based on suggestions and in particular I'm recalling one piece of information from Roberto da Firenze on sort of moderating museum time, I'm thinking we want to spend no more than 2 hours max this visit to the Uffizi. If they're closing at 6:30, does anyone have any idea what time do they start having people leave the Uffizi? Just want to make sure you we have a couple hours to visit. Thanks to everyone.
It looks like from their site that they start closing 15 minutes before the official closing time. I went there last spring and it was wonderful, even for someone who's not an art expert. Cheers.
Thank you for the help. Somehow I had missed that on the website.
