Thanks for the reply. I guess I should also have asked when does it get dark during November and also do certain places close during November? I know that when we are in Rome we will be out in the evening walking around and having dinner. I just don't want to waste anytime we have there, if you know what I mean. I want my grandaughters to see as much as possible. THANKS AGAIN

It gets dark about 6:00PM. Nothing will be closed in Noverber. The only thing that you might not find much of are the sidewalk cafes in the historic sections of Italy. It would be a shame to miss that as that is part of the charm of Italy. Anyway, have fun!!!!
