I am going to be in Florence on a Sunday and Monday at the end of October. I have read conflicting information regarding the San Lorenzo Market and the hours for the indoor market (1st and 2nd floor) and the outdoor vendors. I really want to have time with the outdoor vendors on Monday, but have read that they are closed on Sunday and Monday. Can someone please let me know the hours of the indoor market and the outdoor vendors?

The 1st floor of the Central Market is closed on Sunday and open from early (about 7:00am) until 2:00pm on Monday. The 2nd floor food stands are open from 8:00am until midnight every day except Christmas. I'm not sure of the exact hours for the street market, but most stands would be open by 9:00am and would close around 8:00pm. Some stands aren't open on Sunday, primarily those associated with shops that are closed on Sunday. Be very careful when buying from the stands in the street market, as quality varies a lot.
Edit: The street market stands close a little earier, around 7:00pm instead of 8:00pm.
