We will be in Rome from April 29, 2019 flying out May 2 around 11:00h. Looking for a hotel within a 500m walk of Termini or 500m of a Metro station within 2-3 stops of Termini. We’re hoping to find lodging for aroud 100Euro/night. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Jon, we've stayed a reasonably close walk from Termini (although not for the price you want) but it's worth mention that the metro system is pretty limited and will not get you very 'close' to a substantial area of central Rome if walking is not your thing or if you or someone in your group has mobility challenges.

Hotel Aberdeen has rooms staring around 105euro per night (2 persons)-- hotel ~250 meters to Repubblica metro station and ~800 meters from Termini.
Have stayed there and would do so again

This is a good one in your price range near Termini (400mt)
However the price range varies depending on when you go.
