Can I have some recommendations for hotels, b&b, etc. outside of Florence. I want to be able to park my rental car and take a 10-15 minute bus ride into city center. I'll be coming from Venice and I'd like to keep it close to $100.

We stayed at this place: http://www.csse-roma.eu/eng/english.php?zm=5 Scroll down to get to Florence. It was so good, we went twice. Perfect place to park the car very safely for free, and it includes an amazing breakfast. It's a beautiful walk into Firenze along the Arno. If you want to see pics, IM me. Cheers,
