Hello,
Looking for recommendations for reasonably priced hotels or B&B' near Vatican. Looking to spend no more than 150 euros per night if possible.

Not sure how far out you are looking, but the further out, the better.
I rented an AirBnB not far from the Vatican for $85 euro per night (plus taxes and fees of course) There are really quite a lot of AirBnBs you can find near the Vatican if you are looking with ample time.
A few other places I looked: Vatichouse, San Peter Rome BnB, St. Peter's View, Best Western Hotel Spring House, and Under the Dome Guest House.
I hope these might give you a good place to start.

I'm not sure what the rates are now, but we love the Hotel Museum which is down the steps from the Vatican Museums.
