I am a single woman flying out of Naples airport. Any recommendations for a hotel

The airport is very close to center, 15-20 min by taxi
You could stay in Naples, not airport hotel

And if you are leaving early in the morning it will take only 5-10 minutes to get to the airport.

While I would not stroll around long after dinner, Naples is not a behavioral sink of crime, any more than is NYC or Los Angeles. Don't limit yourself to airport hotels. A lot of airport shuttles for Italian hotels are third-party subcontractors, which makes me nervous about reliability.

I agree. The airport shuttle bus leaving from Central station was very convenient and only took 15 minutes.
