hotels making your museum reservations

Hello... My wife and I made reservations for Accademia and Uffizi through our hotel in Florence. He gave us a reservation number, but no payment was required. I know RS suggests making reservations through your lodging, but i want to make sure we still avoid the lines and everything if we still have to pay when we get there. Any advice on this?

You should have received a number and a time. At your time, go to the window pay and go it. When we were there, there were two lines -- reservations and general admission. Ask the guard.
