Hotels in western Sicily?

Looking for suggestions for centrally located hotels or bed and breakfasts in the town of Trapani and in the Agrigento area. Quiet at night would be a plus. Traveling in April, with a car. Would like to stay around $130 a night. Thanks!

I'm sure Roberto's advice is best, but I'll throw out that we enjoyed our stay at Ai Lumi B&B in Trapani several years ago.

Last year I stayed at B and B Armando, Via Roma 16 in Trapani. The situation may have changed in the meantime, but when I was there, there was a nightspot underneath the B&B where live music was played outdoors till quite late, at least on weekends. Since you're looking for quiet, I'd be very careful about places near that location. The source of the noise was between the Corso V. Emmanuele and the Via T. G. Giovanni.

A heartfelt tip: Always travel with earplugs. This goes doubly in countries where people tend to be out late at night (Italy and Spain for starters).

On the RS Sicily tour early June we stayed at:

Agrigento

Rooms were fine, definitely quiet and nice patio and gardens.
Not sure about the pricing.

Trapani

Nice apartment style rooms, quiet street as my room was on the street on the ground floor. Helpful staff.

I too would give Roberto's suggestions a serous look.
