Our family of 6 (four kids) will be spending a night in Venice this August. Can anyone recommend a good clean hotel in Venice for a large family.

I stayed at Hotel Tivoli in Venice last fall. There was a group there that included several children, so I assume they have family rooms. The room rate (for a single) was very reasonable; the hotel was clean and friendly; a generous buffet breakfast was included. You can try www.venere.com.

Our family of 4 is staying 3 nights at one of the apartments at Hotel Campiello, in Rick Steves' book. I would try and book ASAP.

Pensionne Accademia has family accomodation I believe. It's well prices and just a couple of minutes from th vaporetto stop. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
