Hotels in Venice?

Can anyone suggest a hotel in Venice, 100-150 Euro/night? Many thanks!

Such a broad question is best answered by a booking site like www.Booking.com. You can enter your search criteria and see availability immediately at many hotels. The reviews are written only by those who have stayed there, so in my experience, they are trustworthy. I no longer contact each B&B or hotel one at a time. It just is not efficient. Booking.com also allows you (most of the time) to cancel with some notice.

Laurel is right. Just search booking.com and you can filter from lowest to highest price or by reviews.

I generally start from the cheapest price and start looking seriously when I reach my preferred price bracket and a place has average guest review scores over 8 and preferably over 9.

We stayed at Hilton Molino Stuckey on Giudecca island in 2010. A bit out of the way but very nice. And the hotel shuttle pulls up right outside to take you to St. Mark's Square. I can't remember what we paid. P.s. Don't know if this matters, but it was and maybe still is the cruise hotel for Oceania, which we were boarding a few days after our arrival.

Prices fluctuate a lot in Venice between high season and low season. I prefer to stay in the Dorsoduro area, which is quieter and more residential than around St. Mark's. A couple other good sites are venere.com and hotels.com.

Thanks everyone. I used Booking.com for suggestions and booked a room at Hotel Campiello near St. Mark's Square.
