Anyone know of a good hotel, pensione, hostel etc., in Udine and Trieste? For that matter, I need a place to stay in Klagnefurt, Austria as well.

William, we stayed in a wonderful B&B in Cormons, 25 kilometers from Udine. It was a winery with really nice rooms. To top it off, they had a very small wine tasting/restaurant a little ways away, where we had one of our most memorable Italian experiences. We signed up for a 6? course lunch, where they paired a different wine with each course. It was fantastic. The name of the winery was La Boatina. I stayed at the hotel Novo Impero at Trieste for 70 Euro a night in 2006. I do not know what their current prices are. It is a nice hotel and right opposite the train station.
