Hotels in Turin and Bologna

Hi all,

More last minutes plan as we make changes due to Covid! I would love hotel recommendations in Turin walkable from the Porta Susa TGV station in the Quadrilatero and in the Bologna historic center -- is that Piazza Maggiore? Would ideally like to spend $175 for one night.

Thank you!

We stayed at the Hotel Dock Milano in Turin in 2015. The location is perfect if you are arriving and departing from the Porta Susa TGV station. One of the front desk staff was kind of a jerk to us, but that was one person out of many six years ago. I would probably stay there again.

Porta Susa and the Quadrilatero are quite far on foot. Assuming you're going there just for dinner, I'd find an hotel close to Porta Susa and walk to the Quadrilatero along the pedestrianised Via Garibaldi Street. The Dock Milano seems the perfect choice.

On the other hand, If you are spending in Turin more than one night you could forget about the Quadrilatero and Porta Susa and pick a place in the core of the city center, close to Via Roma St. and San Carlo Sq.

In 2019 we stayed at this small BB in the heart of Turin for four nights. Lovely breakfast, great location and host, excellent price. B&B Carlo Alberto- Torino, torinocarloalberto@gmail.com
