Can anyone recommend a 4 Star hotel near the water in Reggio di Calabria, Italy (The Boot)? I am going in July. Grazie!

Are you aware that the star system in Europe is not related to the quality of the hotel, but rather to the specific amenities available? Things like elevators, parking, etc. There are two star hotels that are much nicer than 4 star hotels.

Donna, go to Trip Advisor.com and read the ratings/ reviews that other travelers have posted on the accomodations in Regio. Don't limit your self to just hotels; look at all of the rental options. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g187777-Reggio_di_Calabria_Calabria-Hotels.html
